October has been a hauntingly beautiful month!
Halloween is the one day of the year to be something different just for a few hours. Scary goblins and witches fearlessly roam the street, demanding treats from neighbors and friends. Fairy princesses and cowboys mingle with zombies, and dance the night away to the “Monster Mash” among other Halloween Classics.
The next two weeks promise to be great fun for Halloween frivolities!
Friday, October 23, 2015 from 9:00 pm to midnight and Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 9:00 pm to 2:00 am
This cult classic is virtually impossible to watch safely in your living room. The pleasure of the Rocky Horror is entirely due to the atmosphere of the show. In addition to the live actors in front of the screen, audience participation is not an option. Dress as your favorite charactor, or as a party goer in 80’s themed garb, or just your lingerie….
Movie participants are taken on a roudy and ridiculous journey with naiive and innocent Brad and Janet, as they struggle to survive a night in Dr.Frank N. Furter’s castle (a mad scientist dressed in a corset and platform heels). Dance the Time Warp with the party-goers, and laugh out loud as the cast re-enacts the antics on screen.
With two showings this weekend, and an after show DJ party on Saturday night, there is no better way to warm up for a Halloween to remember. But be warned! Rocky Horror is not for everyone! If you are easily offended, or under 21, this is not the show for you.
