healingartsmoonwalk.jpgRidgway Creative District invites you to its first Healing Arts MoonWalk on Sunday, March 19th, from 3:00 – 7:00PM. The healing arts are alive and well in Ridgway! The MoonWalk begins with a welcome ceremony at 3:00 in the Kiva Room at Chipeta Solar Springs Resort that includes the Threshold Choir, a group that sings for people at the threshold to life or death. Many forms of expression, connection and self-development can play a key role in personal health. For this MoonWalk, the healing arts were defined as creative practices that promote healing, wellness, and personal change.
Ten sites in downtown Ridgway will open for this event, including the Kiva Room at Chipeta and the Community Room at Town Hall for healing arts practitioners who are not opening their own offices. Maps will be available at the welcome ceremony or on March 15th at www.ridgwaycreativedistrict.com and www.facebook.com/RidgwayCreativeDistrict. What a great opportunity to learn more about the latest in the healing arts and get to know area practitioners. Mini-treatments, demonstrations, introductory discounts, and food and drink will be offered.

Approximately 30 practitioners will participate from varying healing arts modalities, including:
