In fact, Purgatory is excited to announce opening day is in just a few days, this Saturday, November 17, 2018! Silverton Mountain, which is an extreme skiing adventure all experienced skiers should have on their bucket list, announced The San Juan Mountains have 246% snowpack right now with well above average conditions, and have an opening date of November 24, 2018.
With a confirmed 46″ of natural snowfall in the past three weeks, and optimal weather conditions for snow making, Telluride is looking forward to opening on Thanksgiving, November 22, 2018!
