Don’t Miss Thursday Music in the Park in Ridgway, Colorado!

Despite the lack of fireworks, July began with a bang in Southwest Colorado, and the Ridgway Concert Series did not dissapoint last Thursday, July 5, 2018! Every Thursday in June, Ouray hosts free concerts at Fellin Park, and in July, those concerts move to Ridgway.

The opening bands last week in Ridgway were indeed a tough act to follow, but the rest of the line up is sure to bring smiles to faces and a bounce in every step! From near and far, the talent in July are a force to be reckoned with.

The 2018 Ridgway Concert Series continues each Thursday through July 26th from 6pm to 10pm. The series is free to the public and features a wonderfully curated mix of eight bands over four nights. The events are family friendly and include a children’s activities area to keep the kids entertained, while the parents dance and mingle with new & old friends. Expect spectacular views of the San Juan and Cimarron Mountains, stellar music, and lots of dancing. Delicious food and regionally brewed beer and other libations will be available. The audience is welcome to bring (short backed) lawn chairs, blankets, coolers and picnics. Pease note, no glass or outside alcohol & no dogs are allowed in the park. The Ridgway Concert Series is presented by the Town of Ridgway in conjunction with Pickin’ Productions and is funded entirely by community sponsors, fundraisers and donations. The on-site beer sales benefit a local not-for-profit.
